Pierrevert is close to the intersection of four départements: Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, Var, Bouches-de-Rhône and Vaucluse.

Architecture
The village has kept its medieval charm with its old doors, ancient ramparts and the remains of a windmill. Of particular note are Chapelle St Patrice (13th C), Portail St Joseph (17th C) and the church door (18th C).

Resources & production
The wine produced on Pierrevert's slopes has been "A.O.C." since 1998, and makes the village the wine capital of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.
